This is the former Haydon Burns Jacksonville Public Library, which was designed by Taylor Hardwick in 1965. However, this landmark will be changing.

The building was purchased by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund last year and will soon make this structure full with activity. By 2015, it will be turned into the Jessie Ball duPont Center, which will be a center for nonprofits. Construction is expected to get started in February.

The project will cost about $21 million and the building will not be changed much on the outside. Just slight adjustments and renovations will be made to the outside. Along with only
