                     Corona Virus Real Estate
Round Table Realty has been using the foremost technology available to agents since the very beginning of the brokerage back in 2019. So, during the Coronavirus Pandemic, they've still been working! Facetime video tours, 3-D video walk-throughs, digital signings, and remote closings are all things we've been doing for years!
We get it, though. There is a strong pull towards your couch if you're one of the people out there who isn't working outside the home. It's very easy to get into a rut! But it's also an amazing opportunity to do some things you never have the time to do! Here are some ideas:
1. Learn Something:
Check out https://www.lynda.com/, which has a 30 day free trial membership, to learn some new technical skills.
Or, if you're more of the crafty type, get a load of https://www.mybluprint.com/. They've got 15 free days of projects, patterns, and classes!
2. Plant some Seeds!
If you have the ability, plant some seeds and tend to them! This is a great time to work on your green thumb. If you've got kids - even better!
Don't have any seeds? Check out this website to find out how to re-grow plants from some of your kitchen scraps.
3. Detail your Cars!
This might not be the most fun task, but oh it will feel great when it's finished! If you have kids, put them to work as well! Learning how to properly detail a car is a great skill. You could even teach them a few things about the way the car works if you happen to know that! (And if you don't know, maybe you could learn! Check out Eric the Car Guy on Youtube talk about the basic parts of a car. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ralw-IZAaf0)
4. Learn a Language
You're not going to learn a whole language during this pandemic, but you could get started! Try DuoLingo, and maybe try learning a language you're never going to use just for fun! https://www.duolingo.com/
5. Go to a Museum...Virtually!
Did you know that many of the world's greatest pieces of art are available for viewing online? PBS compiled 17 of the most impactful museum exhibits in the world and you can visit them here https://www.pbs.org/newshour/arts/19-immersive-museum-exhibits-you-can-visit-from-your-couch.
Go with your family or, if art is your escape, curl up on the couch and take a look at some of the world's masterpieces.
It's a trying time for many of us, but if you're one of the millions who is healthy and at home, try doing something special with your time. We're all in this together, and if we can do ANYTHING to help you, let us know!
