Jacksonville is home to plenty of culture and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra is a big part of it. The Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1949 and provides plenty of annual concerts. Not only do they provide excellent shows throughout the year, but they also provide educational programs.
The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra has its own concert hall found at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. They also perform at a number of other venues found throughout the state. The Symphony Orchestra also provides support for four different school districts and 2,000 music lovers throughout the community.
