Riverside is a bit of a unique arts area with the Riverside Fine Arts season and plenty of great jazz music found within the area. This part of Jacksonville is home to the Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens, which is known across the nation.

Avondale provides a bit more of a historic district with many old southern-style homes ranging from Art Deco to Mediterranean styles.

Both areas provide plenty of great golf courses and the beaches are not found far from either neighborhood.
