Pam Lockwood was referred to a client out of state who had a rental property here in Jacksonville. She was ready to sell the property and so Pam helped her get it listed, shown, and sold in a very short period of time. Just before their closing date, the title company came back to Pam and informed her that the home had a second owner on the deed! It turned out that Pam's client owned the home with her father, but didn't realize it would be necessary for him to sign off on the closing. Pam explained that it was no problem, they would just need to get in touch with him to have him sign a few papers. It was no problem except for one thing: he lived outside of the country!
While it took a few days of scurrying around to get everything in order, Pam was able to work with the title company to get them every document they needed remotely and her client was still able to close on time! Now that's putting REMOTE people before property!
