The Best Halloween Events Throughout Jacksonville

8th Annual Haunted Forest

This Haunted Forest will happen at Catty Shack and include the big cats. It's one of the biggest events of the year. As you tour the ranch and meet the large cats, you will run into some of the spooky residents, as well. This will be a fun event for all ages. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Activities include crafts, games, candy, haunted forest trail, face painting and more. The event starts on October 11th at 5pm and will run throughout the season.

Haunt Nights at Adventure Landing

With three great haunts, this is an excellent event for the Halloween season. It runs from October 4th to November 2nd and provides CarnieVille, Apocalypse 3D and Dark Fables. Shows start at 7pm.

5th Annual Yappy Howl-O-Ween Bash

As the largest K-9 Costume Contest, this party is perfect for dogs and owners. Trick-or-treating will provide all kinds of fun with a doggy costume contest including categories, such as Scariest, Best Owner/Dog Duo, Best Overall and most original costumes. The event will also include a pet expo, games, live music and more. It will happen on Sunday, October 13th at 2pm.

26th Annual Spooktacular at the Jacksonville Zoo

With all kinds of fun coming to the zoo, this is one of the most popular events of the Halloween season. For ten nights, you can come out and enjoy pirates, scarecrows, fairies, wizards and so much more. There are three scare zones perfect for scary fun and kids can enjoy food, slides, bounce houses, trick-or-treating, music, dancing and more. Tickets are $8 for members and $10 for non-members.

Spooktacular will happen on October 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th through 31st, from 6:30pm to 10pm.
