TPC Sawgrass - Ponte Vedra

Maybe the best course in the entire region, TPC Sawgrass was named to as one of the top public courses in Florida by Golf Magazine. The Players Stadium course is where the PGA holds The Players Championship every year. Expect to pay $245 to $410 to play here.

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club - Ponte Vedra

Another great choice for gold in the area is the Ocean Course at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. This course was designed by Herbert Strong and was supposed to host the 1939 Ryder Cup. With many ocean views from holes and plenty of scenery, this shorter course is a fun choice in the area.

World Golf Village - St. Augustine

You may travel to this part of Florida for the memorabilia found within the World Golf Hall of Fame, but don't miss out on the great golf courses found here. Play the King & Bear course designed by both Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer or choose the Slammer & Squire with holes designed by Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. Either course will provide plenty of great golf fun.

Hyde Park Golf Club - Jacksonville

This Donald Ross designed course provides plenty of fun. It's a shorter course and may not be the most expensive in the area, but it's a great place to play. Many of the best golfers in history teed it up here including Babe Zaharias, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan and San Snead.
