Homes for Sale in Yulee

The neighborhoods of Yulee include some new construction and older communities. 

One of the most exciting up-and-coming communities in Yulee is Wildlight. A 2,900-acre master-planned community, you’ll get a sense of southern hospitality with a playful atmosphere. This development, just west of Yulee proper, prides itself on being “FloCo”, a fun play on words for Florida Low Country. You’ll be able to live, work, and play all within this brightly colored community. With street names like Dog Trot and Daydream, and houses currently being built, this might be your perfect fit!

1. Heron Isles is a neighborhood featuring mostly midsize, single-family homes that are very reasonably priced. It began in 2005 and continues to be developed with plenty of new construction.
2. Hickory Village is a small neighborhood completed in 2008. Single-family homes with 3 and 4 bedrooms are available on these quiet little streets.
3. Meadowfield is a neighborhood with homes ranging from $200,000 to $1,000,000, 3 bedrooms to 6 bedrooms. It began in 1987 and includes several waterfront properties.
4. Pirate’s Wood, located on the St. Mary’s River features homes large and small. This wooded neighborhood makes each home feel secluded amongst a canopy of trees!

Schools in Yulee

If schools are important to you, you’ve got a number of great ones to choose from! At the elementary level you’ve got Yulee Elementary School and Yulee Primary School, both with excellent ratings. Yulee Middle and High Schools both have excellent reviews. In nearby Fernandina Beach, you’ll find a number of private schools, if that’s what you prefer, including Faith Christian Academy and St. Michael Academy.

Things to do in Yulee

Because Yulee is a lesser-known town, people wonder what there might be to do there! 

The White Oak Conservation Center is a beautiful 17,000-acre conservation area dedicated to caring for multiple endangered species including rhinoceroses, zebras, cheetahs, elephants, and so much more. You can take a tour (by appointment only) to see all the animals being rehabilitated there at White Oak.

SJ Brewing Company started in 2018 after its owners, Shaun and JoAnn Stewart, worked to change the Nassau County ordinances on taprooms. Not only did they succeed, but they opened their own taproom with 14 beers on tap right in the heart of Yulee. A neighborhood hang-out and trivia hot spot, check out the rotating selection of brews!

Antiques are a prominent industry in Yulee. Visit Antiques and More Treasures, The Old Flood Store antiques, Junk in the Trunk, or Country Store Antiques and More! 

You’ll find The Golf Club at North Hampton with over 7,000 acres and an 18 hole golf course. This beauty was designed, in part, by Arnold Palmer himself! And if you love golfing you can drive right up the road to the Amelia National Golf & Country Club. This golf course also has 18 holes and was designed by Tom Fazio. 

Restaurants in Yulee

Because Yulee is a growing community, just a few dynamite restaurants are ready to serve you. Neighboring Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island are also filled with fantastic restaurants, some of which are on the water.

In Yulee itself, you’ll find a great BBQ restaurant called Willie Jewell’s Old School BBQ. Residents claim it’s far better than any of the chain BBQ restaurants and they love the ribs! 

Olive Cove is another local favorite. Italian, of course, complete with chicken parmesan, pizza, lobster ravioli, and more! 

Tasty’s Fresh Burgers is more than just a name. This restaurant has some creative burgers, hot dogs, and po'boy sandwiches. They also have ice cream and frozen yogurt for dessert! (Try the tots!)

Traditional Chinese and Sushi restaurants are also nearby, as well as the southern favorite Gator’s Dockside.
